Scottish Sporting Car Club is one of Scotland's longest established motor sport clubs and organises a variety of motor sport events. We believe that well conducted motor sport improves driving ability and raises the standard of car maintenance. If you want to further develop your car control and general driving skills, motor sport can offer you the opportunity to do so under controlled conditions.

Motor sport is one of the most popular and successful sports in Britain with around 100,000 competitors taking part in 16 different kinds of event. Motor sport to many people means the spectacle of Touring Car racing or the World Rally Championship on the television. But you do not need a special car to start competing -
you can take part in most of the events we run in the car you drive every day.

But what if you don't have a car of your own yet? Don't worry! If you want to get involved you can - for example as a navigator or co-driver or, if you prefer using your mechanical skills, as a service crew member. Alternatively, how about volunteering as a marshal? Events cannot run without them. Or you could set your sights on becoming a timekeeper, scrutineer, radio crew or other member of an organising team. The choice is yours!
