Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 August
– A Sprint doubleheader weekend to start the month promoted by East Ayrshire CC at Kames. Both days are 2008 Guyson Sprint Championship counters.

Saturday 9 August – Gleaner Oil & Gas Speyside Stages. Based in Elgin. Starting with the now traditional specials in Cooper Park, the rally heads for the forests to the east of the town with central servicing in Huntly. Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 August
– It’s a northern motorsport weekend as Grampian AC host a double header hillclimb at Fintray. Both days are rounds of the 2008 Hillclimb Championship.

Sunday 10 August
– Autograss racing organized by Central Scotland Autograss Club at their track just off the B918 at Balado near Kinross. More details from www.scottish-autograss.co.uk .


Saturday 16 August – SSCC Autotest

Thursday 21 - Sunday 24 August – Culzean Autoclassica.
New for 2008 a two-day event for classic and historic cars at Culzean Castle & Country Park. A large range of events are lined up over the Saturday and Sunday. More details at www.culzeanautoclassica.com .

Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 August – Autograss racing organized by Central Scotland Autograss Club at Balado.

Sunday 24 August – W A Development Pengragon Stages at the Warcop Ranges. A round of the 2008 Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship. More details from www.strc.co.uk .

Sunday 24 August
– Monklands Sporting CC continue a busy speed month with a hillclimb at Forrestburn. A round of the 2008 Hillclimb Championship and the 2008 Scottish Speed Championship.

Thursday 28 August – SSCC Social Gathering at Phoenix Park Pub, Phoenix Retail Park, Linwood (Next to the Ford dealer). Monthly get together for club members and friends starting around 7.30pm. For more details please contact socials@scottishsportingcarclub.org.uk
